As inbound travel is our forte, we specialize in package tours and tailor made holidays for groups, discerning individual travelers and Incentives to whom we offer a wide range of specially designed products.

Back in the eighties, 1986 to be precise, a group of 4 tourism graduate students, with a strong passion for travel and tourism, started off by arranging tour packages and vehicles for a few personally known customers. In 1989, they got real serious about the idea and started it off as a career, and thus set up an office with just a table and chair space and a telephone in a thatched roof structure in one of the remotest parts of Madras, present day Chennai. A logo was to be created and so, they picked the Indian National Flower – Lotus, as the logo and named the company ‘Lotus Tours & Travels’. From there we have gone a long way and even changed the name of the company to ‘LOTUS INDIA HOLIDAYS’, and it has grown steadily only through word of mouth and many of our travelers, have returned to us, yet again and again, for another trip, and recommended us to their friends.



For the last 20 Years, we have provided efficient and timely service to over quarter of a million customers, thereby becoming one of the most trusted names in the tourism sector in South India. During the course of time ‘Lotus India Holidays’ came up with branch offices in Trivandrum, Cochin, Bangalore and Jaipur and the Company also opened a separate division in each branch, for undertaking inbound tours exclusively. Besides this the company also has resident representatives in Kolkatta, and. This company sets up its own quality we floated a transport company called ‘LOTUS CARS’, which today owns an array of brand new luxury and non-luxury cars and coaches, and caters to the needs of our clients from all over the globe, as well as some of the leading corporate houses in the domestic market.



We have different language speaking chauffeurs, selected and well trained at the M.R.F. Driving Foundation (Chennai), to fulfill all the needs of our valuable customers, and to deal with all clients according to one’s decorum. All our drivers carry mobile phones for instant communication. We also cater to the needs of various customers interested in low cost effective treatments and packages – Medical Tourism especially from US market. We are one among the pioneers in South India in the field of Medical Tourism. We are a government approved tour operator and are General Sales Agents (GSA) for Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC), Rajas than Tourism Board, Karnataka Tourism Corporation, Gujarat Tourism Board and Andhra Pradesh Tourism.



Our Offices: We presently have our registered corporate office at Trivandrum and a fine tuned network of branches at Cochin, Bangalore, Aahammadabad and Jaipur. We have international offices / representatives and we also have tie-ups with various corporate travel houses all over the globe and so we are directly / indirectly represented in almost all the important cities. The motivation levels of our staffs are among the highest in the industry. Our staffs are well trained to handle any type of travel related requirement at any time and most of them have expertise in their respective fields in tourism, right from road to air transportation and cruise liner to charter flight handling and their related tour bookings to operations and customer handling.
