Manufacturers, Suppliers and Exporters of tin oxide are :- -Ceramic Pigments :- Ceramic Pigments Tin oxide is a versatile product within the portfolio of the ceramic technologist, where its refractory and chemically inert nature facilitates the production of a broad palette of robust ceramic pigments. Advance Inorganics supplies a comprehensive range of tin oxides, fine tuned to meet the requirements of the most demanding ceramic pigment manufacturers. Our tin oxide products are of the highest quality, consistency and performance in the world. That is why we are the first port of call when a tin oxide product is required for a new application Electro-conductive . -Electro-Conductive and Anti-Static Coatings :- Advance Inorganics have developed a range of tin oxide based products for anti-static and electro-conductive coatings. The advance range of products can be utilised to produce pale or transparent electrically conductive coatings. -Electroplating Chemicals :- Several important tin-based metallic coatings are applied by electroplating, and consequently plating chemicals form a large outlet for inorganic tin compounds such as tin(II) chloride. These coatings include tin itself, tin-lead, tin-zinc, tin-nickel, and tin-bronze. -Electrical Contacts :- Advance Inorganics produces specific grades of tin oxide for application in tin oxide electrical contact materials. These products exhibit tightly controlled particle size distribution and impurity level for optimum performance and durability in this demanding application. -Glass Tin Oxide :- Glass Tin(IV) Oxide, or stannic oxide, has a number of diverse uses in the glass industry. It is used, for example, in the manufacture of lead crystal glass. A major application of tin oxide is as a surface film on glass, . Very thin transparent films are applied to stengthen glassware such as bottles and jars, and catering glassware subject to rigorous use. This increase in impact resistance allows the production of lighter and cheaper containers. Tin oxide films produce a transparent yet electrically conductive layer. Such conductive films are finding an increasing number of uses, for example de-icing windscreens, antistatic glassware, security alarm glazing and electroluminescent display screens. A tin oxide layer also improves thermal insulation, and is incorporated in some double-glazing systems. -Tin Catalysts :- Tin oxide is one of the components of a number of binary oxide systems which find extensive use as catalysts in industry, particularly petrochemicals; the other oxides most commonly used in association are those of vanadium, antimony, molybdenum and phosphorus. These catalysts are employed in the manufacture of various chemical intermediates. The ability of tin oxide to oxidise carbon monoxide has also led to air purification applications, for example in submarines and safety masks. Both inorganic and organotin compounds have found industrial application as catalysts in the production of polyurethane foams, the curing of silicone elastomers, and certain other commercial. -Agrochemicals :- A number of triorganotin compounds have been developed as agrochemicals. Triphenyltin acetate was first introduced onto the market in the early 1960s and this is effective against a broad range of fungal organisms. These compounds are employed for disease control on sugar beet, potatoes, beans, carrots, celery, coffee and many other crops. A particular advantage of the triorganotin pesticides is that they do not constitute a long-term environmental hazard, since they break down eventually to non-toxic inorganic forms of tin. -Antifouling Paints :- Marine fouling is the attachment of small marine animals and plants to surfaces which are immersed in seawater for fairly long periods. These organisms can include bacteria, protozoa and large species such as barnacles, algae, hydroids, molluscs and sponges. These increase the weight and drag of the ship and cause it to consume more fuel to maintain speed.
