DRY TYPE OIL TYPE
DESIGN FEATURES?.
1) Core : Core is build from non-ageing Cold Rolled Gain Oriented Silicon Steel.
? Constructions can be with Mitred or Step lap joints to get optimum performance.
? Assembled in M.S. formed channels to withstand short circuit forces.
? High corrosion resistance is achieved by applying Epoxy core setting compound as result it reduces sound level too.
2 Winding : The windings are made of electrolytic copper conductors covered with the required insulation as per the design.
? High voltage windings are disc, Layer or cross over type.
? Low voltage windings are generally layer type.
? Each winding assembly (LV & HV) is impregnated under most strict conditions to ensure optimum insulating & mechanical properties.
3 Process
? VPI- Windings are impregnated in unsaturated polystermide resin under stringent conditions to ensure optimum insulating and mechanical properties.
? CRT- Coils are cast under stringent conditions using Huntsman make Epoxy resins
? OFT ? Coils are shrinked and impregnated in oil.
4 Enclosure /Tank
The enclosure are made up with 1.2 to 3mm thick CRCA sheets in the case of dry type transformers and with required thickness in the case of oil filled transformers.
It is fabricated with bending technology to minimize welding joints & enhanced mechanical strength by using CNC machine.
? It can be with built in or additional marshalling box.
? CNC punched sheets are used to give effective directional cooling.
? OFT tanks are designed to built leak proof joints with built-in stiffeners.
? Surface preparation is by seven tank process & can be coated with thermosetting paint or Enamel/Epoxy/Polyurethane paint with flexibility of cable terminations as per requirement or Bus duct.
TESTING:
Tested with state of art equipments like
? Yokogawa-Japan digital power analyzer (accuracy 0.02%)
? WS systems high voltage & partial discharge Lab .
? Insulation & DC high voltage tester of Megabras makes.
? Winding resistance & ratio with computer communication for Fool-proof measurement of Scope make
? Digital temperature scanner with computer communication for automatic recording & plotting of graph.
? Transformer ratio meter Raytech make Germany
