-Kay Compressors are heavy duty twin lobe rotary compressors designed with forged shaft and ductile iron material lobes.
-The compact, sturdy design is engineered for continuous service when operated in accordance with speed and pressure ratings.
-The computer calculated lobe profiles ensure maximum volumetric efficiency and minimum absorbed power without sacrificing torsional rigidity.
-All Rotating parts like lobes and pulleys are dynamically balanced to avoid undue load over the bearings.
-Precision, hardened and ground helical steel gears are used to ensure smooth, silent running and accurate timing of the rotating lobes. A controlled lubrication system is provided to ensure efficient operation without waste of energy in gear case. These gears are located on the drive side for more input torque capability.
-Heavy Roller Bearings are engineered for reliable and long service.
-Large oil sumps for improved bearing lubrication.
-Piston Ring Seals & Labrinth Seals for long time reliability.
-Oil free air delivered without the use of oil seals.
-Design and manufacture is in accordance with metric standards.
